The IRS Form 433-B is the financial statement typically requested by Revenue Officers or Settlement Officers when evaluating the collectability potential of a business taxpayer, which also provides a collections road-map for the IRS for potential liens and levy sources. If you are an individual who owns a business, a Form 433-A will be requested as well. Because this document is signed under penalty of perjury, great care should be taken to ensure it is accurately and completely filled.
